The security and safety industry has undergone several key changes in the last three decades or so. External appearance, video quality, functional parameters and integrated applications have all evolved with time and technology. The most important and most fundamental change has been in “resolution.” We’ll now take a look at recent market applications from the resolution perspective.

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission voted unanimously on Thursday, 6/17/2021, to advance a plan to ban approvals for equipment in U.S. telecommunications networks from Chinese companies deemed national security threats like Huawei and ZTE.

Following previous sanctions that US imposed to China in Sep, on Dec. 3rd, the US government has officially listed SMIC、CNOOC、China Construction Technology and CIECC on Pentagon’s black list.And S&P Dow Jones Indices on Thursday became the second major index provider to remove some Chinese companies from its index products following a Trump administration executive order which designed to deter U.S. investment firms, pension funds, and others from buying shares of Chinese companies designated by the U.S.

US imposed sanctions to Huawei because USA has termed “Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.” a national security risk and has proceeded to cease supply business to “HiSilicon”, a company wholly owned by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd via TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited). This made it impossible for Huawei’s HiSilicon chip division to continue producing processors for its products, including phones and surveillance products.
